Ex:
~there are cars going 45 mph! With kids crossing the parking Lo!
~our school has a one lane drop off lane and one lane right next to it for cars to pull out for after they drop the kids off! Every year the school reminds parents that! But still There are parents dropping off their kids in the second lane! The kids pass in front of the cars almost getting hit!
~There is 1 lane to pull in and 1 lane to pull out, perpindicular to the bus lane, with no side space on the sides of the road! several cars have almost hitten each other!
Is there a crosswalk because if there is there should be a crossing guard and its against state law to drive through a crosswalk while anyone is entering or anywhere in a crosswalk.
i agree with zachomis in taking this up with better authorities....
But i have a question of my own...when i was giving my opinion on the high school "universal parking laws" during the GA at Chesapeake HS, i noticed that all the parking "requirements" were written to seniors.
My question is "Can Juniors or Under Classmen (God forbid) have right to a parking permit?"
I feel that the best way to assign parking spots would be to have each student who wishes to get one fill out a form that has some simple questions, such as information about afterschool activities, Jump Start, or factors such as an Administrative Transfer. Those students who are found to be in the greatest need should be given priviliedge, with seniors given priority over juniors if a "tie" should occur. Then the rest of the parking spots can be given out by random lottery to Juniors and Seniors (not really to underclassmen, as few have liscenses. But if they have a need for driving, they can still apply).
Also, spots may be reserved for maybe the top 5 of the class, SGA, NHS, ITS, Tri-M, and other such officers, team captains, and Senior Class officers, or any combination (For instance, maybe only the president or vice president of each club can be given reserved spots).

How is your parking lot so unsafe? Can you provide more than a single incident or an opinion?

Well that should be taken up with the administration and if not, the local authorities. Not the school board.
