At my school they put you in line by table at lunch and there are 33 tables. when you are one of the last tables to get called you only get like two or three minutes to eat and that isnt enough for me and alot of other people. You end up havin to throw half of your food away because you cant take it with you and to me thats just a waist of money.

I think that the school lunch period should be extended. There are tons of eigth graders and when you need to buy lunch you might be called last and then you only get about 5 minutes to eat your lunch and socialize with your friends. An hour lunch period would be good...if you think about it the elementary schools have an hour when they dont have to do schoolwork because they get recess as well. Now I'm not saying that we should add recess to our schedules. I just think that we should add more time to the lunch periods.

At Old Mill depending on what lunch you have the line can be pretty for into the cafetiria. I think the line are too long do to overpopulation rather than a lunch that is too short.

In high School that is a little harder to do and the problem isn't that actue.

At Arundel, the lunches are massive... and then the lines are way long... and then the cutting... there isnt enough time to eat... AT ALL.

I agree totally! my school is a middle school and still there is no time! I cant even think of when I go to high school cause thwen it would be twice as hard!

well what do you guys think is more important, longer lunches or shorter school days? you cant extend lunch without extending school--and personally i would rather get out early than extend lunch.

I definetly agree. I personally bring lunch everyday, but some of my friends don't and end up eating for the last 2 minutes of our 20 minute lunch, and others just skip lunch. Another thing is, we have lunch in the middle of our 3rd period classes. Which for me is Algebra 1 (and I'm taking it 2 years early). My teacher really hates it split up like that and we are always a few days behind the other Algebra classes because we have less learning time. Which also mans less test time. I could go on forever talking about this, so I'll just leave it at- there are alot of things I'd like to change about lunch.

I say just take a minute or two out of each class and just add it in
